Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2024 – Rahul Mehandiratta has started a new role as Vice President & Group Head – HR & IR at Amber Enterprises India Limited. In this capacity, Rahul will oversee human resources and industrial relations initiatives, driving strategic planning and talent management across the organization.
Rahul Mehandiratta has been with Amber Enterprises India Limited for nearly two years. Prior to his new role, he served as the AVP & Group Head HR & IR since November 2022. During his tenure, Rahul managed HR operations for 30 plants across 9 states, leading a team of approximately 80 HR employees and overseeing a workforce of 2000 white-collar and 15000 blue-collar employees. He was responsible for strategic planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, digitalization, compliance, and driving the organization’s vision and values.
Before joining Amber Enterprises, Rahul was the Head HR (General Manager) at Sanden Vikas India Pvt. Ltd. from May 2017 to December 2022. He managed HR policies, talent acquisition, and cost optimization for multiple plants and warehouses. His notable achievements include de-registering a union, optimizing manpower, and implementing HR digitalization projects.
Rahul also served as the Associate Vice President – Corporate HR at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd from November 2014 to February 2016, and as the Senior Manager – Human Resource at CLAAS India Pvt Ltd from April 2008 to November 2014. At CLAAS, he was instrumental in HR policy deployment, talent management, and employee engagement.
Earlier in his career, Rahul held various HR roles at Nestle India Limited, PepsiCo India, Arvind Mills, and Alembic Ltd. These roles provided him with extensive experience in HR management, employee relations, and talent development.
