Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2024 – Rajarajan Rathina has joined Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd as the Vice President & Strategic Business Unit Head-Power, Oil & Gas, and Green Hydrogen & Derivatives. In his new role, Rajarajan will oversee strategic initiatives and operations across these pivotal sectors, leveraging his extensive experience in energy transition, engineering management, and technical leadership.
Rajarajan Rathina brings over two decades of engineering and leadership expertise to Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd. Prior to this role, he spent more than 13 years at Tata Consulting Engineers Limited, where he served as General Manager & Sector Head – Energy Transition. In this capacity, he led the organization’s focus on clean energy, spearheading initiatives in product design, data visualization, and plant engineering.
Earlier in his tenure at Tata Consulting Engineers, Rajarajan held various roles, including Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager – Power Business Unit, and Engineering Manager. These positions saw him lead teams in delivering complex engineering solutions and fostering innovation in the energy sector.
Before joining Tata Consulting Engineers, Rajarajan worked with Lanco as Assistant General Manager, EPC Division, where he contributed to key projects in the energy and construction sectors. His earlier roles include positions at GE Power & Water, where he progressed from Engineer to Engineering Technical Leader over a span of nine years, focusing on leadership and team-building in Bangalore.
Rajarajan began his career with roles at Quantech Global Services and Aeronautical Development Agency (Ministry of Defence), gaining experience in project engineering and aeronautical systems design.
