Gurugram, Haryana, India – May 2025 – Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s leading provider of dialysis products and services, has announced the appointment of Rajiv Ranjan as Cluster HR Leader, South Asia. In this pivotal leadership role, Rajiv will drive human capital strategy across the South Asia region, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s mission to enhance the quality of life for patients with chronic kidney disease.
Rajiv brings more than 20 years of diverse leadership experience in human resources, having worked with global organizations in healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, and consulting. Prior to joining Fresenius Medical Care, he founded Aira Advisory, a people consulting firm, and earlier held key leadership positions at Tenneco, including Executive Director – HR, Global Motorparts and India, and Global Talent Acquisition Head. His time at Tenneco was marked by strategic HR transformation and global integration across multiple business units.
Rajiv also served as CHRO at Bharti AXA General Insurance, and previously spent nearly a decade at Johnson & Johnson, where he led HR for India Supply Chain, R&D, and Asia Pacific Quality & Compliance functions. His early career includes stints at Accenture and Larsen & Toubro, where he played critical roles in talent management and organizational development.
His appointment underscores Fresenius Medical Care’s commitment to building future-ready HR capabilities and nurturing a high-performing, patient-focused culture as the company continues to expand across South Asia.
