Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 — Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) has announced the elevation of Ramganesh Iyer to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective April 10, 2025. With more than 20 years of experience spanning financial services, management consulting, and entrepreneurship, Iyer brings a wealth of knowledge in strategy, customer-centric transformation, data and analytics, and due diligence.
Before joining Mahindra Finance, Iyer was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he led large-scale financial services projects for both Indian and global clients, including fintech enterprises. His background also includes co-founding and scaling ventures such as Fisdom and PARK Financial Advisors, where he gained hands-on entrepreneurial experience in wealth management and financial advisory.
Earlier, he worked as an Investment Manager at Peepul Capital, and held consulting roles at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), contributing to diverse sectors including steel, cement, consumer goods, and BFSI. A Gold Medalist from IIM Ahmedabad, with a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, Iyer brings both analytical rigor and strategic foresight to his new role.
At MMFSL, he will lead key operational and strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience, accelerate digital transformation, and expand the company’s footprint in vehicle, SME, and equipment financing. His appointment is a strategic move to drive innovation and performance across the organization as it evolves in a rapidly changing financial ecosystem.
