Delhi, India, August 2025 — LNJ Bhilwara Group has appointed Ranjan Sarkar as Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, he will lead the Group’s HR strategy, talent management, and leadership development initiatives, aligning human capital capabilities with the conglomerate’s ambitious growth and transformation agenda.
Ranjan brings with him over two decades of leadership experience in human resources across leading organizations. He joins the Group from Exide Industries Limited, where he served as President – HR for over eight years, spearheading HR excellence for a USD 2.5 billion energy storage business spanning automotive and industrial lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries for EVs, solar, energy storage solutions, and metal refinery operations.
Prior to that, he was Vice President – HR at CEAT Limited, a USD 1 billion automotive tire major, where he also oversaw the specialty tire subsidiary CSTL, implementing strategic HR frameworks and driving organizational capability building.
Earlier in his career, Ranjan held the role of AVP – HR at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and Dish TV, leading HR for the DTH communication business and media operations. He also served as Manager – HR at GSK Pharmaceuticals India, managing talent strategies for the pharmaceutical sector, and began his career as a Management Trainee – HR at Shaw Wallace (now part of the UB Group).
