Before joining OpenText, Rashmi served as Head of HR, India at Lumen Technologies, where she successfully scaled operations to over 3,000 employees and led transformative initiatives such as the adoption of AI-enabled HR systems, governance reforms, and university partnerships. Her work enabled faster hiring, enhanced internal mobility, equitable pay structures, and stronger employee engagement.

Earlier, Rashmi held key leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she guided large-scale HR transformations across India and the APJ region, and at Tribune Digital Ventures, where she led HR due diligence and compliance during critical acquisitions. She also contributed to major organizational growth and transformation at Thomson Reuters, and began her HR career at Microsoft and HSBC, gaining rich experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and people operations.

At OpenText, Rashmi will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s AI-first culture, ensuring a seamless alignment between people, technology, and purpose. Her focus will be on empowering talent, fostering inclusion, and creating a high-performance environment that reflects OpenText’s vision of helping organizations grow and innovate through trusted information management.
