Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2024 – Rashmi Prabha has joined Sonata Software as the Vice President Human Resources. In her new role, Rasmi will be leading the HRBP function globally, working towards the organizational goals with meaningful growth as an outcome.
Rashmi’s most recent role was at Wipro, where she spent approximately eleven years in various leadership roles. As the General Manager & Head HR CIS, she led the HR function for one and a half years. Prior to this, she served as the Head HR – GTM iCORE APMEA for around one and a half years, and as the Head HR – Data, Analytics and AI (DAAI) for nearly two years. During her tenure at Wipro, she drove corporate HR initiatives, talent strategy, and business delivery.
Before joining Wipro, Rashmi was the Associate Manager – Total Rewards at SAP Labs for about three years. In this role, she managed salary review processes, benefits policies, and compensation benchmarking for the Asia Pacific Japan region. She also played a key role in job architecture and benefits mapping during mergers and acquisitions.
Earlier in her career, Rashmi worked at Hewlett Packard for approximately seven and a half years. She held various roles, including HR Generalist, managing international compensation and benefits, and staffing specialist. She was instrumental in several HR initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, and middle to senior-level recruitment.
Earlier Roles: Rashmi started her career as an Associate Consultant at PeopleOne Consulting, where she worked for about nine months, focusing on recruitment for leading BPOs and call centers in Delhi/NCR. She successfully organized walk-in interviews for volume hiring and specialist roles, earning a place in the “Achievers’ Club” for two consecutive quarters.
