Houston, May 2024 – United Imaging Healthcare is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rene Walsh as Head of Human Resources North America. With over 20 years of strategic HR leadership experience across diverse industries, Rene will lead the company’s HR strategy and initiatives across the region.
Before joining United Imaging Healthcare, Rene served as a Human Resources Consultant for HRNavigator, providing comprehensive HR consulting services to clients in areas such as policy development, performance management, employee relations, and restructuring.
Previously, she held various leadership roles at Sulzer, where she spent over 15 years. As VP of Human Resources for Energy and Operations, she directed global HR strategy for Sulzer’s largest business unit across 11 locations worldwide. Before this, she was VP of Human Resources for the Americas, managing a multi-million-dollar benefits portfolio and overseeing HR operations across 22 sites in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Earlier, as the U.S. HR Manager at Sulzer, she optimized HR and compliance operations for 1,100 employees.
Rene also contributed significantly as Corporate Benefits and HR Generalist at LaCrosse Footwear Incorporated, achieving a 12% annual cost reduction by consolidating pension and benefit plans. She began her HR journey as an HR and Safety Specialist at The J.M. Smucker Company, managing full-scope HR operations and safety compliance for a Fortune 500 company.
