Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, September 2025 — Richard Hannah has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at Neuron Mobility, the leading rental e-scooter company and micromobility technology developer. In his new role, he will drive operational strategy, business expansion, and efficiency across Neuron’s international footprint.
Hannah has been with Neuron Mobility for over five years, most recently serving as Head of Global Operations, where he reported directly to the CEO with full P&L accountability across more than 35 cities in Australia, Canada, and the UK. During this time, he oversaw end-to-end operations, strategy, safety, supply chain, and efficiency initiatives that strengthened the company’s market position.
Prior to this, he was Head of Australia and New Zealand (Country Manager), leading Neuron’s ANZ operations through significant growth. He spearheaded expansion from 600 to over 10,000 e-scooters by 2022, secured major tenders in Brisbane and Melbourne, established first-ever trials with several state governments, and scaled the workforce to more than 80 FTEs and 400 casual employees, all while managing full P&L responsibility in a highly regulated environment.
Earlier in his career, Hannah held leadership positions outside Neuron, including City Manager at Bolt, where he focused on team leadership and strategic partnerships in Melbourne. Before that, he was Commercial Manager at BetEasy, where he contributed to business transformation and M&A initiatives.
He began his career with KPMG Australia in Deal Advisory, where he spent over six years specializing in business transformation, management consulting, and advisory, building a strong foundation in finance and operations.
