Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – Rita Verma has joined Omnicom Media Group India as the new Chief Talent Officer. Bringing her extensive experience in talent development and diversity leadership, Rita aims to enhance the organization’s human resources strategy and drive transformative change.
Rita Verma has a distinguished career spanning over 20 years in talent development and human resources. Before joining Omnicom Media Group India, she was with DDB Mudra Group for nearly 19 years, serving as the Head HR – DDB Mudra Group and Interbrand India. In this role, she led diversity and inclusion initiatives, aligning the company’s people strategy with its business goals. Her leadership in diversity was marked by her stewardship of Omniwomen and OPEN Pride initiatives, promoting gender neutrality and LGBT+ inclusion.
Prior to DDB Mudra Group, Rita was a Lead HR Consultant at Watson Wyatt Pvt Ltd (now Willis Towers Watson), managing compensation and benefits consulting across various industries. She also served as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at Career Graph and Market Solutions, focusing on recruitment and new business development.
