Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Lowe as the new Chief People and Culture Officer.
With a rich background spanning over 20 years, including six years in executive aviation human resources roles, Lowe is well-prepared to lead LAWA’s efforts in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Jobs, and Social Responsibility. He will also spearhead the development of a Talent Development team aimed at enhancing the organizational culture and people management systems at LAWA.
Lowe’s recent tenure as Vice President of People and Culture at Republic Airways saw him overseeing significant initiatives in employee engagement, talent management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Before his role at Republic Airways, Lowe held the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Talent Acquisition at JBT AeroTech, where he was responsible for global HR leadership across multiple international locations, supporting over 2100 employees.
His earlier experiences include strategic HR roles at The Nature’s Bounty Co., where he led HR operations for supply chain management, and at Dean Foods as the Senior HR Manager for the Florida Division. Lowe’s extensive background is supported by his education, holding a BS in Business Management and an MS in Human Resources Development from Indiana State University.
