INDIA/Singapore, July 2025 – Rohit Anand has joined EnerGrid as a Board Member, bringing with him a deep commitment to solving India’s long-standing transmission infrastructure challenges. Rohit Anand currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Asia Infrastructure Investments at British International Investment (BII), where he leads infrastructure and climate investments across Asia. Over a 13-year journey with BII, he has held pivotal roles such as Regional Head (South-East Asia) and Head of Infrastructure Equity (Asia), shaping large-scale investments from London to Singapore and Mumbai.
In parallel board capacities, Rohit serves as a Board Member at Skye Renewables, a green electricity provider across the Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam, and was earlier on the boards of Ayana Renewable Power and Ecom Express. These roles reflect his consistent focus on building impactful and sustainable businesses across logistics, renewables, and energy infrastructure.
Prior to his tenure at BII, Rohit was an Associate at IDFC Alternatives, managing infrastructure investments, and a Senior Associate in M&A at Ernst & Young, where he specialized in transaction advisory for private equity clients. His academic background includes a foundation in finance and strategy, with a reputation for analytical leadership and cross-border execution.
