Singapore, January 2026 – Accor has announced the appointment of Ronald Dooremalen as Vice President, People & Culture Operations, Asia, marking a strategic leadership move as the global hospitality major continues to expand and strengthen its people-led growth agenda across the Asia region.
In his new role, Ronald will partner closely with Asia Operations Leaders to drive region-wide People & Culture strategies focused on workforce capability, leadership development, organizational performance, sustainability integration and operational excellence across Accor’s diverse portfolio of brands and properties.
Ronald Dooremalen brings with him over two decades of international hospitality leadership experience across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with deep expertise in hotel operations, large-scale openings, brand integrations and multi-country leadership assignments.
Before assuming his current role, Ronald spent close to four years with Accor, where he held senior leadership responsibilities including Director Operations Excellence, Hotel Openings & Projects – Asia, and previously led Operations Support & Projects across South East Asia, Japan, South Korea and India, also holding accountability for Sustainability, Crisis Communications and Safety across Asia.
Prior to Accor, he served as General Manager at Orchard Hills Residences Singapore MGallery, and earlier as Hotel Manager at Raffles Singapore, overseeing one of Asia’s most iconic luxury hospitality landmarks.
His earlier leadership journey includes senior assignments as General Manager (Interim) at Raffles Europejski Warsaw and Raffles Praslin Seychelles, along with multiple global leadership roles at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, where he led Rooms and Hotel Opening & Integration programs across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India and Asia Pacific. He also served in executive rooms leadership roles at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and The Savoy London, managing pre-opening, rebranding and large-scale operational transformations.
