Cape Town, South Africa – November 2024 – Ronel Bruwer has started her new role as Head: Talent & Performance at Old Mutual Limited, where she will oversee talent development and performance initiatives to strengthen the company’s leadership and employee growth across its Pan-African operations.
With over a decade of experience at Old Mutual, Ronel has held numerous impactful roles within the organization. Most recently, she served as Senior HCBP: Organisational Effectiveness at Old Mutual South Africa, where she led various change management projects, developed change leadership training, and managed the change and learning budget across projects. Her tenure involved overseeing a team of change managers and learning consultants, focusing on strategic development and learning deployment initiatives.
Prior to that, Ronel worked as a Change Manager and HR Manager at Old Mutual, where she focused on driving organizational change and managing HR processes. Her early career included an Industrial Psychology Internship at Old Mutual, where she gained foundational experience in talent development. She also held roles in training and development with Shoprite and as a student assistant at Stellenbosch University.
