Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, October 2025 — Rose Phillips has joined Junior Adventures Group (JAG) as Chief People Officer, where she will lead the company’s global people and culture agenda across Australia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. In this strategic leadership role, Rose will focus on enhancing employee engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness to support JAG’s mission of enriching the lives of children through exceptional out-of-school care experiences.
Prior to joining Junior Adventures Group, Rose served as Head of Partner Resources at Starbucks Australia, where she spent nearly three years leading people strategy and operations across the company’s retail network. During her tenure, she focused on developing inclusive leadership, fostering strong workplace culture, and driving engagement initiatives that empowered partners to deliver the Starbucks experience with passion and purpose.
Before her time at Starbucks, Rose held the position of HR Director at Grill’d Healthy Burgers, where she was instrumental in designing and implementing progressive people strategies that aligned with the brand’s customer-centric and community-focused ethos. She also provided HR consulting through Stone Consulting, where she advised multiple organizations on organizational culture, performance, and talent development.
Earlier in her career, Rose spent several impactful years in the retail sector, serving as Group General Manager – Human Resources at The Just Group, General Manager – Human Resources at Target Australia, and General Manager – Human Resources at Officeworks. Her extensive HR journey began at Coles Group Supermarkets, where she served as State Human Resources Manager (Bi-Lo), building the foundation of her expertise in large-scale HR operations, leadership development, and workforce strategy.
With over two decades of leadership across some of Australia’s most recognized retail and hospitality brands, Rose brings a deep understanding of people, purpose, and performance to her new role at Junior Adventures Group.
