Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 2024 – Roshan D’Costa has started a new position as Director, Human Resources, Fuels, South East Europe, Middle East, Africa & Central Asia Regions at Bureau Veritas Group. In this role, Roshan will expand his responsibilities to cover a wider geographical scope within the Fuels business, supporting shared services and governance in the South East Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia regions.
Roshan D’Costa has been with Bureau Veritas Group for over ten years. Before his current role, he served as Director, Human Resources, CIF Middle East & Caspian Sea Region, where he managed HR strategies and operations across these regions. Prior to that, he was the Director, Human Resources – CIF Middle East Region, where he conceptualized and implemented HR strategies to support business growth.
Before joining Bureau Veritas Group, Roshan worked at Emirates Aluminium (“EMAL”) for over six years. As Manager, HR & E R, he was responsible for mapping HR processes for the startup company, proposing HR strategies, managing budgets, and developing HR policies and procedures. He also managed employee relations, compensation, and performance management.
Earlier in his career, Roshan held roles at Topaz Energy and Marine as HR Co-Ordinator, where he established the HR department, coordinated staff recruitment, and implemented HR systems. He also worked at Anaga Solutions / Assure Resources as Assistant Manager, Human Resources, and at Ferns Group in event management roles.
Roshan’s diverse background in HR management, strategic planning, and business development makes him a valuable asset to Bureau Veritas Group.
