Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, February 2026 – Ross Miller has joined Acenda as Group Chief People and Culture Officer, marking a significant leadership appointment as the organisation advances its next phase following the merger of Acenda Life and Resolution Life Australasia.
Ross joins Acenda at a pivotal moment in its journey, as the Group works toward its long-term ambition of building a leading life insurance business delivering confidence and better outcomes for customers across Australia and New Zealand. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening a unified, people-centered culture across the Group and supporting the executive leadership team in driving strategic transformation.
Prior to joining Acenda, Ross held multiple executive leadership roles at Westpac Group, including Chief Customer Engagement Officer, Consumer & Business, where he led more than 9,500 employees delivering branch-based, telephone, and virtual banking services across brands such as Westpac, St.George, BankSA, and Bank of Melbourne, serving over 10 million customers nationwide. His earlier tenure included serving as General Manager, St.George Bank, and leading Human Resources across Westpac’s Australian and New Zealand retail banking operations.
Ross also played a critical leadership role as CEO Bushfire Recovery at Westpac Group, guiding the organisation’s response to the 2019 bushfire crisis. A strong advocate for inclusion and diversity, he has been recognised among the Boss–Deloitte LGBTI Top 50 Leaders and is a fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
With more than two decades of senior leadership experience spanning HR, customer engagement, and large-scale operational leadership, Ross brings deep expertise in culture transformation, leadership development, and organisational integration to Acenda’s evolving platform.
