Waltham, Massachusetts, United States, January 2025 – Roxanne McGrath has joined Sionna Therapeutics as the Vice President, Talent, bringing her extensive experience in talent management, organizational development, and strategic human resources to this innovative biopharmaceutical company. Roxanne will play a pivotal role in driving Sionna’s mission to revolutionize treatment for cystic fibrosis (CF) through novel therapies that restore CFTR function.
Roxanne joins Sionna Therapeutics after a successful tenure at GSK, where she served as Senior Director, HRBP – Vaccines Global Technical R&D. During her 2.5 years with GSK, she led HR strategies across a 1,000-person global organization and supported a business transformation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, following GSK’s acquisition of Affinivax. Roxanne also served as Interim Chief People Officer/HR Integration Lead, overseeing the integration process and building talent acquisition strategies.
Prior to GSK, Roxanne held leadership roles at Cell Signaling Technology (CST), where she served as Director of Global Talent Acquisition and successfully scaled global talent efforts to support the company’s rapid growth in the life sciences sector. Her career also includes significant contributions at companies like Microsoft, Black Duck Software, and Groove Networks, where she built and led HR functions, contributing to company growth and successful acquisitions.
Roxanne is also the founder of McGrath Wellness, a holistic health practice dedicated to empowering clients to take control of their well-being.
