Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 — Saaurabh R Pradhaan has started a new position as Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer at Finfinity. In this role, he is spearheading the scaling of the company’s digital distribution platforms to strengthen operational execution, cultivating strategic partnerships across the financial ecosystem to drive growth initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of operational strategies and objectives. Before joining Finfinity, Saaurabh R Pradhaan spent over nine years at YES BANK, where he most recently served as Head Spectrum Banking, Debit Cards & ATM. In that role, he led enterprise-wide customer lifecycle management across retail banking products, including liabilities, assets, cards, merchants, and insurance, while driving profitability, digital innovation, and stakeholder engagement. His achievements included turning around the debit cards business from a major annual loss to profitability, transforming the ATM business, creating a virtual bank model within the organization, improving enterprise efficiency, and navigating industry challenges with strong crisis leadership. Earlier at YES BANK, he also served as Head – Asset Desk Manager Channel, where he designed and executed a new distribution channel that significantly improved branch contribution, productivity, and cross-sell culture.
Prior to YES BANK, he worked with CarTrade.com as Head Sales & Operations (Pre Owned Vehicles, B2C Platform). During this phase of his career, he played a leading role in pioneering and scaling the company’s B2C used vehicle marketplace. He helped build one of India’s largest dealer and franchise networks, scaled revenues substantially, launched franchise outlets across multiple cities, and introduced new dealer-focused certification and monetization models. His work at CarTrade.com highlighted his strengths in ecosystem building, operational scaling, and business growth.
A significant part of Saaurabh R Pradhaan’s earlier journey was with HDFC Bank, where he held progressive leadership roles across Retail Assets, Auto Loans, and Depository Services over more than twelve years. His contributions included scaling auto loan volumes, launching new sourcing channels, developing innovative products, improving operational efficiency, automating processes, and managing large distributed teams. This long tenure helped him build a strong foundation in P&L ownership, product innovation, risk controls, and performance-driven leadership.
Earlier in his career, he also worked as Executive Consultant at M P Chitale and Company, where he prepared operations manuals and participated in inspections on behalf of SEBI, and as Management Trainee at Pal Credit Securities Pvt Ltd, where he handled NSE dealing, back-office management, and accounts. He also served as Executive at Intime Share Services Pvt Ltd, where he was responsible for share transfer activities. These early assignments added to his operational depth and regulatory understanding, which continue to strengthen his leadership profile today.
With more than 27 years of experience across banking, fintech, digital ecosystems, operations, sales, and large-scale transformation, Saaurabh R Pradhaan brings a strong and diverse leadership background to Finfinity.
