Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. has welcomed Sachin Karwa as its new Chief Financial Officer, a strategic appointment set to strengthen the company’s financial leadership at a pivotal time for the textile industry. As CFO, Sachin will oversee financial planning, risk management, and value creation, supporting Sutlej’s mission to deliver world-class textile solutions while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Sachin brings over two decades of diverse financial leadership experience to his new role, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Apcotex Industries Limited. In this capacity, he played an instrumental role in elevating corporate governance, introducing robust financial processes, and steering the group through key growth and transformation initiatives. His responsibilities spanned the full spectrum of finance, including strategic planning, fundraising, M&A, performance management, and compliance—helping shape Apcotex’s long-term trajectory.
Prior to his success at Apcotex, Sachin spent nearly eight years as Vice President – Finance at Mafatlal Industries Limited, where he partnered closely with the CFO to scale and reposition the business following a major corporate restructuring. He was pivotal in rebuilding the company’s financial infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing banking relationships, and implementing critical systems such as SAP. Sachin’s ability to guide organizations through change and complexity was further established during this tenure.
Earlier in his career, Sachin was Director – Finance & IT at Sherwin-Williams, where he drove the integration of Nitco Paints into the multinational’s culture and processes, spearheading restructuring, systems integration, and operational excellence. He also held key financial roles at Spotless Group and began his career in audit with Deloitte, providing him with a strong foundation in financial controls, compliance, and business transformation.
With his comprehensive background in finance across global organizations and leading Indian companies, Sachin Karwa’s expertise in governance, financial strategy, and operational leadership is expected to play a vital role in Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd.’s ongoing journey as an industry leader.
