Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 – Sajid Iqbal has joined Brigade Group as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) & Senior Vice President – HR & Admin, where he will lead the talent strategy and human resources function across all business verticals including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and education. In this strategic leadership role, Sajid will be responsible for driving talent development, employment branding, leadership growth, and workforce transformation as Brigade accelerates its pan-India growth journey.
Prior to this, Sajid served as Vice President – Human Resources at GE, where he held several critical leadership positions over a span of more than 10 years. He most recently led HR for the APAC and Sub-Saharan Africa region for GE’s $8B transportation business, with responsibilities spanning Australia, China, India, Indonesia, and Africa. From 2021 onwards, he also oversaw the India region, covering seven factories and three major service sites with over 6,000 employees and associates.
Before that, Sajid held multiple HR leadership roles at GE Oil & Gas, GE Aviation, and GE Healthcare, including HR Head for GE Healthcare’s India Technology Center, where he designed and implemented award-winning talent development programs that were recognized by NHRD Bangalore. Earlier, as Global HR Business Partner for GE Signalling, he supported global expansion efforts, notably setting up operations in Brazil and introducing performance-linked incentive programs in the US.
Sajid also served as HR Manager at Godrej Pacific (now Ingram Micro) and started his career as an HR Specialist at Larsen & Toubro, where he led the implementation of reward programs and talent development interventions at L&T’s Powai plant. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service.
