Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, April 2026 — AUMOVIO has announced that Laurent Fabre, currently Head of the Wheel Brake Solutions (WBS) segment within the Safety and Motion business area, will assume the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), AUMOVIO, effective April 1, 2026. In this position, he will be responsible for sales across North America, Asia, and Europe, reporting directly to CEO Philipp von Hirschheydt. The appointment marks an important step in strengthening the company’s global commercial organization as it continues to advance its role in the automotive transition.
Speaking on his appointment, Philipp von Hirschheydt remarked: “Laurent Fabre will unify and steer our sales activities with his strong leadership, ensuring an even more customer-focused and efficient commercial organization.”
Laurent Fabre brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the automotive industry and has held several key management roles across the business. He is currently associated with AUMOVIO as EVP and is a member of the company’s leadership team. Prior to this, he spent a significant phase of his career with Continental, where he served in senior leadership roles including Executive VP and Managing Director, Head of ECC Segment.
Earlier in his career, he worked as General Manager at Synerject SAS, Vice President BD Sales and Marketing at Continental Powertrain USA LLC PL NA, TPMS Competence Center Leader at Continental Automotive GmbH, and Program Manager at Siemens VDO Automotive S.A.S., France. Together, these roles reflect a long and progressive leadership journey across commercial management, business development, sales, and automotive operations.
With extensive global experience across AUMOVIO, Continental, Synerject SAS, Continental Powertrain USA LLC, Continental Automotive GmbH, and Siemens VDO Automotive S.A.S., Laurent Fabre brings a strong leadership background to this newly created role. His appointment as Chief Commercial Officer is expected to support AUMOVIO’s efforts to build an even more integrated, customer-focused, and efficient commercial structure across major global markets.
