Braeside, Melbourne, Australia, August 2024 – Samantha Bartle has taken on a new role as Head of People and Culture at HydroChem, marking a significant shift in the company’s approach to human resources. In this role, Samantha will focus on fostering a holistic, people-centric environment, ensuring that employee engagement, culture, and compliance are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
Samantha has been with HydroChem for over two years, previously serving as the Head of Human Resources & Payroll. In this role, she led the HR department, ensuring legal compliance and the implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
Prior to HydroChem, Samantha was the Human Resources and Systems Director at Think HQ in South Melbourne. Her responsibilities included overseeing system implementations and improving operations, while managing employee relations, compliance, and training programs.
Samantha also held the position of System Reporting Analyst Manager at Australia Post, where she designed and implemented a new reporting database and dashboard for the unaddressed mail section. This six-month role further honed her skills in system management and reporting analysis.
Earlier in her career, she served as the Head of Human Resources at the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities in Dublin, Ireland, where she contributed to providing an independent, confidential, and free advocacy service for people with disabilities.
Her extensive experience also includes a significant tenure as the Senior Human Resources and Operations Manager at Sage Institute of Education in Melbourne, where she managed a broad portfolio of HR, operations, and IT functions.
