Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2025 – Sameer R. Kapur has been named the Sales Director at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited. In his new role, Sameer will lead strategic initiatives to drive sales performance, strengthen customer engagement, and contribute to Oracle’s mission of empowering banks with innovative financial solutions.
Sameer joins Oracle Financial Services Software Limited after serving as Key Account Director – Enterprise FINS EBU at Salesforce for over three years. During this time, he played a pivotal role in team leadership, deal closures, and enhancing sales performance in the financial services domain.
Prior to Salesforce, Sameer worked as Senior Account Executive – BFSI Sales at SAS for nearly seven months, focusing on customer engagement and driving strategic sales initiatives in the banking and financial services sector.
At IBM, Sameer held several key positions, including General Manager Sales – Financial Services EBU, where he managed strategic accounts, led digital transformation projects, and secured multiple awards such as the “Hundred Percent Club Award” and “Manager’s Choice Award.” Over his decade-long tenure, Sameer also served as DGM – Delhi Large Enterprise, leading engagements with large Indian enterprises and MNCs.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at organizations such as Mphasis, HCL Technologies, and Ramco Systems, where he honed his expertise in sales leadership, customer engagement, and team building. His journey also includes an entrepreneurial stint as the Founding Promoter & Director of Sports i, a sports management company promoting sports and talent in India.
