Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, January 2025 – Gerald V. has been named the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SightSpectrum, a leading technology consulting firm specializing in data and analytics. Gerald brings over two decades of expertise in cybersecurity, IT governance, and information security management. In his new role, Gerald will spearhead SightSpectrum’s cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of IT security policies, business continuity, and governance.
Before joining SightSpectrum, Gerald served as Senior Delivery Manager – Cybersecurity at L&T Technology Services for nearly two years. In this role, he successfully implemented security policies and IT governance frameworks, contributing significantly to risk management and compliance.
Earlier, he held a leadership position as SDM – Cybersecurity at L&T Smart World & Communication, where he oversaw cybersecurity programs for over three years. He played a pivotal role in managing security policies and program management to bolster IT security operations.
Gerald spent close to 12 years at Infosys, where he held roles as Lead Consultant and Senior Consultant. During his tenure, he focused on developing IT governance frameworks, delivering strategic program management, and enhancing information security practices for global clients.
His earlier career included roles such as ITSM/ITIL Process Consultant at Wipro, HP ITSM Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, and CRM Systems Specialist at Brigade Corporation, showcasing a strong foundation in IT strategy and consulting.
