With extensive international leadership experience across the telecom sector, Samir Benzahra brings a unique blend of expertise from both the vendor and operator ecosystems. His career reflects a strong track record of leading large, complex organizations and driving transformation in highly competitive and multicultural environments.
Most recently, Samir Benzahra served as CEO of Orange Antilles-Guyane, where he led significant transformation initiatives and delivered strong operational and financial performance across the region. Alongside this, he also held the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors at SPM Telecom, further strengthening his governance experience.
Prior to this, he was CEO of Sofrecom Tunisia and Algeria, where he played a pivotal role in expanding consulting capabilities and driving strategic growth across North Africa. His leadership during this period contributed to strengthening Sofrecom’s positioning in the telecom advisory space.
Earlier in his career, Samir Benzahra spent nearly a decade with Orange as VP Country Director for the Middle East and Africa region, overseeing operational performance, governance, and strategic initiatives across multiple markets. He also served on the boards of several Orange affiliates, further deepening his expertise in corporate governance and strategic oversight.
He began his global leadership journey with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., where he held multiple senior roles in business development, sales, and product management across Europe and Asia, building a strong foundation in telecom technology and global markets.
With over two decades of experience, Samir Benzahra is recognized for his strengths in strategic partnerships, negotiation, execution excellence, and intercultural leadership, making him well-positioned to support BuyIn’s long-term value creation agenda.
