Colombo District, Western Province, Sri Lanka, September 2025 – Finco Technologies Private Limited has announced the appointment of Samudra Amunugama as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, he will be responsible for driving revenue growth, spearheading business development strategies, and strengthening customer relationships to position Finco Technologies for its next phase of growth in the IT solutions and integration space.
Samudra joins Finco Technologies after an impressive 22-year career at Softlogic Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, where he steadily progressed through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Director Sales & Marketing (EUC), leading strategic business initiatives, customer engagement, and high-performing teams across the enterprise user computing vertical.
Earlier at Softlogic, he held roles as General Manager (EUC) for four years, Assistant General Manager for five years, and Manager – Sales & Marketing for three years. His career also included earlier stints as Assistant Sales Manager and Manager – Customer Accounts, where he played an integral role in expanding the company’s client base and driving revenue performance. He began his journey with Softlogic as a Sales Executive, building the foundation of his expertise in customer engagement and account management.
Prior to his long tenure at Softlogic, Samudra spent over five years with Sampath Bank PLC as a Banking Assistant SA II, where he gained valuable insights into financial services, customer relationship management, and operational efficiency. This early experience laid the groundwork for his successful career in sales leadership and revenue growth.
