Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Sandesh Shah has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer at WIKA Group India, bringing with him over two decades of experience across the industrial, telecom, and chemical sectors. His appointment marks a significant move for the company as it aims to strengthen its financial strategy and operational efficiency in India.
Prior to joining WIKA, Sandesh served as AVP Finance at Kirloskar Brothers Limited, where he led the finance division of Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Ltd., and provided strategic counsel to other group companies on financial restructuring and performance improvement. His leadership was instrumental in advancing governance and cost efficiency initiatives across the group.
Before his tenure at Kirloskar, Sandesh was Head of Finance at WIRTGEN GROUP (John Deere), where he played a critical role in streamlining financial operations and ensuring alignment with global standards. He has also held finance leadership roles at Biltube Industries Limited, Indus Towers Limited, Reliance Communications, Deepak Fertilisers And Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd., and E-SQUARE Leisure Pvt. Ltd., showcasing a diverse and robust background in financial management.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Sandesh possesses deep expertise in areas such as SAP S/4 HANA implementation, FP&A, mergers and acquisitions, and board-level governance. At WIKA, his focus will be on aligning financial practices with business goals, driving data-driven decisions, and enhancing financial transparency and efficiency.
