Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Sanjay Ahuja has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at STEER World, where he will lead strategic HR initiatives, including talent management, organizational transformation, leadership development, and fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability. With nearly two decades of rich experience across industries, Sanjay brings exceptional expertise in strategic human resources leadership and business planning to his new role at STEER.
Prior to joining STEER World, Sanjay served as the Head of HR at Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW) for over three years, where he led transformational HR strategies, including organizational redesign, leadership development, and the deployment of global HR policies. He played a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives and aligning HR practices with business objectives.
Before his tenure at LMW, Sanjay spent a decade at TVS Motor Company as the Head of Talent Management & Organization Development. During his time there, he established robust talent frameworks, redefined organizational values, and led initiatives to improve productivity, feedback culture, and HR processes.
Earlier in his career, Sanjay held the position of Manager HR at Mahindra & Mahindra, where he worked on employee engagement, competency frameworks, and culture change initiatives, receiving accolades such as “Best HR Person of the Year.” He also contributed to HR strategy and compliance during his time as Assistant Manager – HR at International Tractors Limited.
