Singapore, January 2026 — Cygnify has announced the appointment of Simon Catling as Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role, Simon will be responsible for leading Cygnify’s delivery teams across the APAC region and driving best-in-class talent acquisition solutions for clients globally.
With a strong mandate to scale high-impact hiring outcomes, Simon’s appointment reinforces Cygnify’s focus on building a world-class Talent Acquisition as a Service (TAaaS) model that blends expert recruiters, AI-enabled tools, and deep regional market insight.
Simon brings over 15 years of experience spanning in-house talent leadership and executive search across APAC and EMEA. Prior to joining Cygnify, he served as Head of Talent Acquisition, APAC at EQT Real Estate, where he led regional hiring strategy from Singapore and supported rapid business growth across key Asia-Pacific markets.
Before EQT, Simon spent nearly six years with JLL, holding progressively senior roles including Head of Talent Acquisition – Markets & Corporate Functions, APAC. During his tenure at JLL, he led complex, multi-country hiring programs across corporate functions and business lines, supporting a Fortune 500 organization operating across more than 80 countries.
Earlier in his career, Simon built deep search and advisory expertise with firms such as Menasa & Partners, Black Swan Group, and Cobalt Recruitment, working extensively across real estate, infrastructure, construction, engineering, and corporate governance domains. He also brings hands-on leadership experience from his early career with CLM Electrical in the UK, providing him with a strong operational lens on talent delivery.
