Ravi Gupta Re-Appointed as Executive Director of Shree Renuka Sugars

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2026 — Ravi Gupta has been re-appointed as Executive Director of Shree Renuka Sugars Limited for a further term of five years, effective October 28, 2026 through October 27, 2031. His re-appointment is subject to shareholder approval and he will be liable to retire by rotation, with all other terms of his appointment remaining as approved by the shareholders at the Company’s 29th Annual General Meeting held on September 23, 2025.

Commenting on his re-appointment, Mr. Ravi Gupta, Board Member and Executive Director said, “I am grateful for the continued confidence and trust of the Board and look forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of growth. There is a lot to build on, and I remain fully committed to creating long-term value for the company and its stakeholders.”

Mr. Gupta is a well-known figure in the sugar and ethanol industry, bringing over 30 years of experience across trading, supply chain and manufacturing in commodity businesses. He has worked at both strategic and operational levels with leading global commodity companies such as Louis Dreyfus, COFCO and AWB in senior leadership roles. He has been associated with Shree Renuka Sugars since 2013 and, prior to joining the Company, served as Managing Director of Noble, now COFCO, in India.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr. Gupta is an active industry voice on sugar and ethanol policy before the government. He holds several key industry positions, including Co-Chairman of the WTO Trade and Investment Committee of ASSOCHAM, Member of the CII National Committee on Bio Energy, Member of the Task Force on Sugar and Ethanol at the Confederation of Indian Industry, Chairman of the Export and Ethanol Committee of AISTA, and Member of the Executive Committee of the West India Sugar Mills Association.

Shree Renuka Sugars is the fifth largest sugar manufacturer with a capacity of 40,000TCD and the largest refiner with a capacity of 4000TPD in India. Company accounts for 20% of India’s sugar exports and is the leader in fuel ethanol with a 20% market share. Company’s current power and ethanol production capacity of 143MW and 930KLPD respectively is spread across various locations in Karnataka, Maharashtra and West Bengal. Renuka Sugars is an active corporate member on NCDEX dealing in sugar commodities to trade in spot market and in futures.
