Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, August 2026 — Yubi has elevated Mitesh Nijhara to the position of Head HR – Banking. In his expanded leadership role, he will lead the people strategy for Yubi’s banking business, driving talent management, organizational development, leadership capability, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR transformation initiatives to support the company’s continued growth across the financial services ecosystem.
With over 17 years of human resources leadership experience across fintech, edtech, automotive, healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing, Mitesh Nijhara has built a strong track record in HR business partnering, organizational transformation, talent strategy, employee relations, and leadership development. His elevation reflects Yubi’s confidence in his ability to strengthen its banking business through a high-performance people agenda.
During his more than three-year journey with Yubi, Mitesh Nijhara has steadily taken on larger leadership responsibilities. Prior to his elevation, he served as Head HR – Collections, where he led the people agenda for the collections business, partnering closely with business leaders to drive talent strategy, workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational capability as the company scaled its AI-powered financial services platform.
Before joining Yubi, he spent over three years with BYJU’S, where he progressed from Assistant Vice President – HR to Deputy Vice President – HR. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening HR business partnering, talent management, organizational development, leadership support, and people transformation across one of India’s fastest-growing edtech organizations.
Earlier, he served as Senior Manager – HR at CARS24, contributing to talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations during a period of rapid organizational expansion.
Prior to that, Mitesh worked as HR Manager at HCL Healthcare India, where he led HR initiatives supporting business growth and workforce capability.
His earlier career includes serving as HR Business Partner at FedEx Express, where he partnered with business leaders on people strategy and employee engagement, followed by roles as Assistant Manager – HR & IR at Delhi Cargo Service Center Private Limited and Assistant Manager – HR at Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited, where he built strong expertise in industrial relations, HR operations, and workforce management.
