Mumbai, India, October 2024 – Sanjay Gawde has joined Mahindra Logistics as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. In his new role, Sanjay will be responsible for leading the overall HR strategy, including talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development, ensuring the company’s continuous growth and success through its people practices.
Prior to his current role, Sanjay held the position of Group Talent Management at Mahindra Group, where he focused on workforce strategies and rewards for nearly three years. His experience also includes his tenure as Head – Total Rewards & Performance Management at Lupin, where he led key initiatives in digital transformation, HR analytics, and talent management.
Sanjay also brings entrepreneurial experience from founding Pencilworks Learning Solutions, a learning platform aimed at providing skill development in creative domains. Earlier in his career, he worked in various HR leadership roles at John Deere, including HR Business Partner, Global Tractor and IT, and Manager – Workforce Planning and Advanced Analytics, where he drove organizational effectiveness and workforce strategy.
Sanjay has also contributed to major projects in compensation, benefits, and shared services during his time at Aon and EXL Service, building a strong foundation in total rewards and talent solutions.
