Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, July 2024 – Sara Blake has joined STELCO – The Steel Company of Canada as the new Vice President Human Resources. With extensive experience in industrial human resources and organizational development, Sara will lead HR operations to support the company’s strategic goals and enhance its workforce capabilities.
Sara Blake has started her role as the Vice President Human Resources at STELCO – The Steel Company of Canada. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, she will oversee HR strategies, employee engagement, and talent management to drive organizational success.
Previously, Sara served as the Vice President Industrial Human Resources, NA at Ferrero Canada Ltd., where she managed HR functions for nearly two decades, focusing on employee benefits design, labor and employment law, and various other HR strategies to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Prior to Ferrero, Sara was the Corporate Human Resources Manager at Namasco Ltd. for nearly five years. In this role, she was responsible for designing employee benefits, handling labor and employment law issues, and implementing HR policies that enhanced organizational effectiveness.
At the beginning of her career, Sara served as a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter at CAA South Central Ontario. During her tenure, she managed recruitment processes, employee relations, and supported various HR initiatives to streamline HR functions within the organization.
