Sarah Hunt Appointed as Head of Human Resources Ireland at Sodexo UK and Ireland

Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland – November 2024 – Sarah Hunt has taken on the role of Head of Human Resources Ireland at Sodexo UK and Ireland. In her new position, Sarah will be leading HR initiatives across Ireland, aligning with Sodexo’s commitment to quality of life services and operational excellence. Her focus will include driving talent management, employee engagement, and workforce strategies to support Sodexo’s diverse service offerings across sectors.

Sarah joins Sodexo after a remarkable 17-year tenure at CWS Hygiene Ireland, where she most recently served as Head of Human Resources. In this role, she managed HR operations for approximately 750 employees across seven locations, overseeing strategic HR initiatives, personnel management, and compliance, which strengthened the company’s workforce and streamlined HR processes.

Prior to her role as Head of HR, Sarah served as HR Manager at CWS Ireland for over 15 years, where she was responsible for the daily HR functions and general services for the company’s nationwide workforce. Her contributions included leadership in strategic HR planning and operational management, showcasing her long-term commitment to enhancing organizational efficiency.

Earlier in her career, Sarah gained recruitment experience as a Recruitment Consultant with Griffin Personnel/Irish Recruitment Consultant, where she honed her skills in talent acquisition and placement. Before that, she was a Senior Administrator at O’Grady Peyton International, where she contributed to administrative processes and support services. Sarah also has experience in the travel industry as a Tour Operator with Sunworld, further expanding her professional background in customer service and operations.
