Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, November 2024 – Saurabh Deep Singla has joined IndiaMART InterMESH Limited as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Saurabh will lead IndiaMART’s human resource strategy, focusing on driving organizational growth, cultural transformation, and talent management for India’s largest online B2B marketplace.
Saurabh Deep Singla brings extensive expertise in HR leadership and business transformation. Prior to joining IndiaMART, he served as Chief HR Officer at upGrad, where he supported a global workforce of over 4,000 employees. At upGrad, Saurabh played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s transformation and people strategy, driving learner success, revenue, and profitability.
Earlier, Saurabh held the position of Chief People Officer at Ecom Express Private Limited, overseeing a workforce of over 65,000 individuals. He led initiatives to enhance employee experience, diversity, and digital capabilities while achieving Great Place to Work certification for the organization in 2022.
Before Ecom Express, Saurabh worked at G4S as Head HR and IR – India and Global HR Shared Services Lead. He managed HR for over 125,000 employees and established a global HR shared services setup. His tenure at Rio Tinto as Head of Global Recruitment & Talent Operations saw him manage recruitment operations for 5,000+ roles annually while transforming the team’s engagement and efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Saurabh held leadership roles at Yum! Brands, Whirlpool Corporation, and Bharti Airtel, focusing on HR strategy, recruitment, and organizational growth. His varied experiences across industries have equipped him with a deep understanding of managing large-scale workforces and driving strategic HR initiatives.
