Faridabad, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Saurabh Mishra has started a new role as Procurement Director for EMEA and India at Tecumseh, marking a significant leadership transition within the company’s global procurement function. In this role, he is responsible for leading procurement strategy across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, strengthening supplier partnerships, driving cost optimization, and supporting Tecumseh’s regional and global manufacturing operations.
In his current phase at Tecumseh, Saurabh Mishra has progressed through senior procurement leadership roles over the last four years. Before assuming the Procurement Director for EMEA and India role, he served as General Manager and Head of Purchase, where he led purchasing operations with a strong focus on supplier development, contract management, global sourcing, and performance-driven procurement governance. He also held the position of Deputy General Manager and Head of Purchase, overseeing annual procurement volumes of approximately USD 70 million and managing large, multi-region supplier ecosystems.
Prior to Tecumseh, Saurabh Mishra spent over three years at GE Power, where he worked as Lead Sourcing Specialist – Commodity Management. In this role, he acted as a Global Commodity Leader for categories including steel, valves, and pumps, managing sourcing portfolios ranging between USD 120–150 million. His responsibilities included global supplier development, commodity strategy formulation, data analytics, and cross-regional sourcing initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he held procurement and vendor management leadership roles at L&T-MHPS entities, including Manager – Vendor Management and Outsourcing Manager, where he led fabrication, machining, structural sourcing, lean initiatives, and vendor capability development across heavy engineering and industrial manufacturing environments.
He began his professional journey in production and works roles at organizations such as Heavy Engineering Workshop (Jaiprakash Associates Limited) and D&H Secheron Electrodes Pvt. Ltd., gaining hands-on exposure to fabrication execution, production planning, contracts, and shop-floor operations—experience that continues to inform his procurement leadership approach.
