In this role, she will lead the talent acquisition strategy for the region, driving recruitment efforts and overseeing the company’s talent acquisition functions across key markets. Savita’s extensive experience will be instrumental in enhancing Mondelēz’s ability to attract top talent across diverse industries and geographies.

Before joining Mondelēz, Savita Mittra spent 17 years and 5 months at Abbott, where she held several leadership positions, including Area Talent Acquisition Director for Asia Pacific. During her 7-year tenure in this role, she led recruitment operations across 14 countries, managing a team of 90+ talent professionals. She was responsible for developing talent strategies for Abbott’s diverse business units, including pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and nutrition, and was pivotal in aligning talent acquisition with business growth objectives.

Prior to that, Savita served as the Regional Talent Acquisition Director for India and Vietnam for 1 year and 1 month, where she played a key role in driving recruitment strategies in these two important markets. She also held the position of Talent Acquisition Director for India, leading strategic hiring initiatives and talent management for Abbott’s Indian operations.

Earlier in her career, she worked at Manpower Inc. as Business Manager BFSI for the West Region. Over her 2-year tenure, she managed recruitment across key sectors, particularly in banking and insurance, and earned accolades for ramping up startups in these sectors. She also worked with American Express for 4 years and 6 months, where she began as a management trainee and advanced to Manager of Client Services Retention.
