Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 — Shachi Kaul has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Mizuho. In this role, she will lead the organization’s HR strategy, people agenda, and CSR initiatives, aligning with Mizuho’s corporate philosophy and values to foster growth, inclusion, and community impact.
Kaul has been associated with Mizuho since January 2023, where she has held progressive leadership positions in HR and CSR, most recently serving as Senior Director, Human Resources & Head CSR. She played a key role in shaping progressive people policies, strengthening governance frameworks, and advancing CSR strategies to enhance corporate value and stakeholder trust.
Prior to Mizuho, she was with RBL Bank as Executive Vice President & Head – Learning & Organisational Development | Deputy Head CSR, where she drove cultural transformation, leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives to support the bank’s ambitious growth strategy.
Earlier, Kaul served at Deutsche Bank, where she held senior HR roles including Head of Talent, Development & Diversity for South Asia and HR Business Partner – Finance Division. She successfully executed global talent strategies, built diversity and inclusion frameworks, and contributed to the bank’s APAC-level people agenda.
She began her career in HR and learning leadership at HSBC, and prior to that was associated with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, where she played a pivotal role in learning and organizational development, including launching the Oberoi STEP programme.
