Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 – Shalini Fernandes has been appointed as Head of Human Resources at Crédit Agricole CIB, where she will lead the strategic setup and expansion of the organization’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India. With nearly two decades of HR leadership experience spanning banking, IT, ITES, and hospitality sectors, she will drive a high-performance culture grounded in regulatory excellence and aligned with the Group’s global values.
Prior to this role, Shalini served as Vice President – Human Resources at BNP Paribas for over four years. She played a pivotal role in strengthening strategic HR frameworks, enhancing organizational capability, and contributing to leadership development in a global banking environment.
Before BNP Paribas, she was Director of Human Resources at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, where she led HR for one of Mumbai’s flagship hospitality properties. In this role, she focused on culture transformation, workforce engagement, and operational HR excellence.
Her earlier tenure at Capgemini, spanning over eight years, saw her operate as an HR Business Partner across technology functions, where she contributed to organizational development and HR transformation. Prior to this, she held progressive HR roles at FIS, Serco (Intelenet Global Services), and Sitel Group, building expertise in recruitment, business partnering, and operations support.
Shalini holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Welingkar Institute of Management and has completed the Advanced Leadership Program in Digital Era Organizational Leadership at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, reinforcing her capabilities in leading digital-age HR functions.
