Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Shanmukhavel Devarajan, a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience in the automotive and aftermarket industry, has joined Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. as Vice President. In his new role, Shanmukhavel will focus on driving strategic growth, market expansion, and innovation in Tata AutoComp’s automotive solutions portfolio.
Shanmukhavel is recognized for his expertise in sales, marketing, and business management, along with a proven track record of delivering transformative results across diverse geographies and segments in the automotive sector.

Before joining Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd., Shanmukhavel Devarajan was the Head of MAHLE India Aftermarket, where he held complete business responsibility for engine, filtration, and thermal components. During his tenure, he successfully enhanced business efficiency and market reach across India.
Prior to MAHLE, Shanmukhavel served as the Director of Marketing, India & ASEAN at Valeo Service, where he developed go-to-market strategies, loyalty programs, and strategic partnerships to drive customer engagement and business growth.
He spent over 14 years at Bosch India, where he held various leadership roles, including Regional Director – Automotive Aftermarket, East Africa and Head of Business Unit – Exports. His contributions significantly expanded Bosch’s footprint across SAARC, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Earlier in his career, Shanmukhavel gained extensive experience at companies like Saud Bahwan Group LLC, Hydraulics Ltd, and Automobile Products of India Ltd, where he honed his skills in sales, marketing, and market expansion.
