Singapore, Singapore, January 2026 — Azelis has appointed Vaishali Azad Batra as Regional Human Resources Director – APAC. In her new role, she will lead the people and HR agenda across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting business growth, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness.
In this role, Vaishali will partner closely with regional and global leadership teams to drive HR strategy, talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, and cultural transformation across Azelis’ diverse APAC footprint.
Prior to joining Azelis, Vaishali spent over 15 years at ECU Worldwide, where she most recently served as Head of HR – APAC. During her tenure, she played a critical role in strengthening HR governance, building leadership pipelines, and driving people strategy across multiple markets in the region.
Earlier at ECU Worldwide, she also held senior leadership roles including HR Head APAC & Global Head – People Performance, Analytics & Culture, and Regional HR Head – APAC, where she led large-scale HR transformation initiatives spanning talent strategy, performance management, analytics, and organizational culture.
Before her time at ECU Worldwide, Vaishali built strong regional HR leadership experience through successive roles as Regional HR Manager covering South Asia Pacific, Japan, and Southeast Asia, establishing herself as a trusted HR business partner in complex, multicultural environments.
She began her professional journey at Petronet LNG Limited, where she managed compensation and benefits, HR operations, HRMS (SAP), and statutory compliance, laying a solid foundation in core HR operations and governance.
With over two decades of global and regional HR leadership experience, Vaishali Azad Batra brings deep expertise in strategic HR leadership, talent transformation, and building high-performing organizations across APAC.
