Singapore, July 2024 – Sharon SY Foo has started her new role as the Regional HR Director for Asia & MEPA at FrieslandCampina, marking a significant milestone in her career with the company.
Sharon brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in human resources to her new position. Prior to this role, she served as the Regional Human Resources Director for Asia at FrieslandCampina AMEA Pte. Ltd. from September 2021 to July 2024. In this capacity, she played a key role in strategic HR leadership, talent management, and organizational development across the region.
Before her tenure in Asia, Sharon was the Human Resources Director at FrieslandCampina / Dutchlady in Malaysia, where she led various initiatives in compensation, culture change, and leadership development from March 2019 to September 2021.
Her extensive HR experience also includes her role as Head of HR – One J&J Malaysia at Johnson & Johnson from May 2014 to February 2019, managing multiple sectors including consumer, medical devices, Janssen, and vision care.
Sharon’s career also features her impactful contributions at Hewlett Packard. From April 2005 to June 2011, she served as the Business HR Partner for Asia Pacific, providing support for regional sales business, followed by her role as HR Business Partner for the Malaysian Services Business.
Her earlier experience includes serving as HR Manager at Vsource Asia Berhad from January 2000 to March 2005, where she was responsible for strategic HR planning, training and development, and performance appraisal.
