Dallas, Texas, United States, November 2025 — Caravel Autism Health has announced the appointment of Sharon Virk as its new Vice President of People & Culture, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued focus on building an empowering and inclusive workplace. With over two decades of global HR and organizational development experience, Sharon brings a rich background in leadership strategy, employee engagement, and talent management — expertise that aligns seamlessly with Caravel’s mission: We change lives.
In her new role, Sharon will play a pivotal part in shaping Caravel’s People & Culture strategy, focusing on fostering engagement, professional growth, and well-being across the organization during a transformative period of expansion.
Before joining Caravel, Sharon served as Vice President of Talent Management at Clear Channel Outdoor, where she built a Talent Center of Excellence that elevated leadership, performance, and culture across a global $2 billion organization. Over a tenure of more than twelve years, she also held the role of Vice President, Human Resources, leading large-scale HR transformation, DEI initiatives, and talent development programs across the U.S.
Earlier, Sharon held multiple leadership roles at The Hershey Company, where she partnered with senior business leaders to design and implement global capability-building initiatives, organizational design frameworks, and insights-driven learning strategies. She also led change management programs for large-scale technology implementations and earned the company’s Organizational Excellence Award for her leadership impact.
Before joining Hershey, Sharon gained foundational HR and people leadership experience at Shoppers Drug Mart, Yellow Pages Group, and Progistix Solutions, where she managed end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, learning and development, and workforce engagement programs across Canada.
Now based in Texas, Sharon continues to draw on her deep Canadian roots and global perspective. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is an active mentor and advocate for the South Asian community, using storytelling and mentorship to empower the next generation of leaders.
