Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Polycab India Limited has announced the appointment of Shashi Amin as Director (Non-Board Member) and CEO – B2B Channel & Corporate Communication, reinforcing its leadership depth across institutional, corporate and B2B market segments.
In his new role, Shashi Amin will lead Polycab’s B2B channel strategy, institutional business engagement and corporate communication mandate, playing a pivotal role in strengthening the brand’s enterprise partnerships, channel ecosystems and corporate positioning.
Career Journey
With an association spanning more than a decade with Polycab India Limited, Shashi Amin previously served as Executive President & Chief Business Officer – Cables, and earlier as President & SBU Head – Cables, where he led Polycab’s largest business vertical and played a key role in building its dominant national market leadership across cables and wires.
Before re-joining Polycab in his present leadership mandate, he served as CEO – Cable Solutions at APAR Industries Limited, where he spearheaded large-scale cable business operations, market expansion strategies and enterprise partnerships across India.
Earlier, he held the position of Vice President at the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), contributing to policy advocacy, industry collaboration and institutional development for India’s electrical manufacturing ecosystem.
Shashi began his leadership journey as an entrepreneur at Arc Electrics Pvt. Ltd., after building early-career expertise at Nicco Corporation Limited and BICC Bahrain, strengthening his foundation in institutional sales, channel strategy and international markets.
