Fairfield, Connecticut, United States, November 2025 — Bigelow Tea has announced the appointment of Shaun Branon as Vice President, Human Resources, marking a strategic addition to the company’s leadership team. With more than two decades of experience across global manufacturing, talent management, and organizational development, Shaun brings deep expertise in people strategy, culture transformation, and leadership excellence to this iconic family-owned brand.
In his new role, Shaun will lead Bigelow Tea’s people and culture strategy, aligning talent and organizational design with the company’s long-term business objectives. He will partner closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen employee engagement, workforce planning, and leadership development, while nurturing Bigelow’s values-driven, purpose-led culture. His mandate also includes advancing the company’s corporate social responsibility and safety initiatives, ensuring an inclusive, high-performance workplace that prioritizes well-being and continuous growth.
Before joining Bigelow Tea, Shaun served as Director, Human Resources – Global Manufacturing at SABIC, one of the world’s largest chemical companies with 40,000 employees worldwide. Over a decade-long tenure, he led HR initiatives across 20 global sites, partnering with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain talent while driving organizational effectiveness within the Plastics Division.
Earlier, Shaun held multiple leadership roles at The Timken Company, including Director, Global Talent Management and Global Director, Human Resources – Process Industries & Corporate Centers, where he designed and implemented global talent, learning, and leadership programs. His tenure also included leading HR for the Aerospace & Defense business and serving as Director of Talent Acquisition, shaping Timken’s global workforce strategy.
Shaun began his HR career with United Technologies (Pratt & Whitney) and Whirlpool Corporation (Maytag Division), where he built foundational expertise in HR operations, leadership development, and employee relations across manufacturing environments. His extensive experience across industrial, chemical, and manufacturing sectors has equipped him with a strong operational understanding and a people-first leadership philosophy.
