Singapore, April 2025 – Shawn Liu has been elevated to the role of Vice President, Organisation & People (Learning) at Temasek, one of the world’s leading global investment firms. In this new role, he will spearhead the firm’s strategic learning initiatives, focusing on leadership development, employee capability building, and leveraging technology for future-ready learning experiences.
Over the past three and a half years at Temasek, Shawn Liu held the position of Assistant Vice President (Learning). During this tenure, he played a transformative role in designing leadership and development programs, advising C-level executives on learning strategy, and leading firm-wide initiatives such as Employee Development Week and New Leader Assimilation. He also championed the integration of DISC for team effectiveness and led the team’s robotic process automation and AI exploration efforts within the learning function.
Before joining Temasek, Shawn was Manager, Learning & People Development at Far East Organization, where he led a team supporting over 15 departments and implemented several initiatives, including e-learning tools, MOOCs, and 360-degree leadership feedback systems. His work significantly enhanced learning productivity and organizational capability.
Earlier in his career, Shawn served as Senior Manager at Certis, where he managed key client accounts, optimized manpower planning, and implemented data-driven operational enhancements. Prior to this, he held several leadership roles within the Singapore Armed Forces, where he gained extensive experience in training strategy, national security operations, and organizational development.
