Shefalika has been with Regeneron since 2022, previously serving as Associate Director, Development Program Management, where she played a pivotal role in driving cross-functional development programs, ensuring alignment across clinical, regulatory and operational stakeholders, and advancing strategic portfolio priorities. Her promotion reflects the company’s confidence in her leadership, program execution excellence and deep clinical research expertise.
Prior to joining Regeneron, Shefalika served as Associate Director, Clinical Program Management at BeyondSpring, where she led clinical development initiatives and strengthened program governance across oncology-focused pipelines.
Earlier, she founded Proprofessionalz Inc., a consulting firm providing clinical operations and drug safety advisory services to pharmaceutical research sites. Through this venture, she delivered specialised consulting and training solutions in clinical research and pharmacovigilance.
She also held the role of Project Director at Sollers, offering consulting services in clinical research and drug safety, further expanding her program leadership experience.
Her earlier career includes experience as a Clinical Pharmacist at Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd., where she led patient care initiatives and workflow optimisation programs, as well as leadership roles at Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP) and PRACS Institute, focusing on clinical research coordination, regulatory compliance and adverse event management.
Shefalika began her research career as a Research Assistant at Northern Illinois University, conducting cytotoxicity studies for anti-cancer drugs, laying the scientific foundation for her subsequent leadership in clinical development.
An alumna of McMaster University (Clinical Research Associate Program) and Northern Illinois University (MS in Biology), Shefalika brings a strong blend of scientific rigor and operational leadership to her new role.
