Cleveland, Ohio, United States, November 2024 – Sheila (Seedhouse) Dollaske has taken on the role of Chief People and Business Operations Officer at Destination Cleveland, where she will oversee organizational strategy, talent management, and business operations to enhance the region’s travel and tourism initiatives. Sheila’s leadership will be integral to driving innovation and efficiency as Destination Cleveland continues to promote the city as a premier destination for business and tourism.
Sheila joins Destination Cleveland following an accomplished tenure at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana, where she held roles including Senior Director of Strategy and HR Operations and Regional Director of Strategy, HR Operations, and People Analytics. During her time at Goodwill, Sheila was instrumental in implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing people analytics, and enhancing mission-driven outcomes.
Prior to that, Sheila served as Director of School Development & Innovation at Goodwill, leading educational initiatives for over four years. She also contributed to academic leadership as an Internship Coach at Columbia University, mentoring graduate students in school leadership programs.
Sheila’s earlier career includes impactful roles in education and community development, such as Innovation Principal Fellow at The Mind Trust, Principal at Indianapolis Public Schools, and Program Director at OneGoal. She began her career as a High School Science Teacher with Chicago Public Schools and a Corps Member Advisor with Teach For America, gaining a solid foundation in leadership and organizational effectiveness.
