Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Schaeffler India, a leading motion technology company, has announced the appointment of Shibi Mathew as the Head of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In her new role, Shibi will oversee the organization’s people-centric strategies and CSR initiatives, playing a key role as part of the Executive Leadership Team. Her leadership will contribute to Schaeffler India’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
Shibi Mathew brings more than two decades of strategic and operational HR experience across leading organizations. Before joining Schaeffler India, she served at MAHLE for over 16 years, holding prominent roles including Head of Human Resources and Admin India. At MAHLE, Shibi was instrumental in driving HR transformation, enhancing organizational culture, and implementing robust employee engagement programs. Her tenure also focused on integrating strategic HR initiatives to align with corporate goals.

Earlier in her career, Shibi held leadership positions at Suzlon Energy Ltd, where he managed critical HR operations, and Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd, where she honed her expertise in HR processes and employee relations. She began her professional journey with Intentia as a Project Coordinator, laying the groundwork for her multidisciplinary expertise.
